Q: How do I get to the festival?
A: The address for Icons Festival 2019 is: Apps Court, Hurst Road, Walton upon Thames KT12 2EG. Apps Court are NOT the organisers of this event: all enquiries should be addressed to Global Events and not the Apps Court office EXCEPT for camping. If you wish to book a pitches please call 01932 244822 during office hours, Monday to Friday.
Q: Is there parking at the festival?
A: Yes, there is plenty of parking at the festival and the cost of £10.00 per day, per car. This is purchased on the day of the festival only and on a first come first serve basis.
Q: Can I leave my car overnight?
A: To encourage safe driving you can leave your car overnight, however, it must be removed by 11:00 am the morning after the Festival.
Q: Is there disabled parking, access and a viewing platform?
A: Icons Festival is fully committed to making our event accessible to all as far as we possibly can. Please visit our Access page if you have questions about parking, our accessible viewing platform or our Personal Assistant Ticket Scheme.
Q: Are tickets available on the door?
A: Yes, you will be able to buy tickets on the door, subject to them being available. Tickets are expected to sell quickly online and there is a limit on the capacity of the event. Therefore, you are advised to buy in advance to avoid disappointment.
Q: I haven't received or I have lost my e-ticket or mobile ticket?
A: You will need to contact our e-ticket supplier. Visit their website to contact them.
Q: Can you scan my ticket from my phone?
A: Yes, our scanners can scan your tickets from your phone.
Q: What are the hours of the Festival?
A: The gates open at 1100 hrs and event closes at 22:30 hrs. There will be NO admissions after 20.00 hrs.
Q: What sort clothing should I wear?
A: Icons Festival is an outdoor music festival and takes place on a green field site. We suggest you dress appropriately for the occasion and the weather: bring something to keep you dry if we get a summer shower!
Q: What if it is raining - will the festival be cancelled?
A: The performers are on a covered stage and the festival will go ahead. Only in extreme conditions and where a question of health and safety is involved, would the festival be cancelled.
Q: Can I get a refund?
All tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Q: Can I use a debit or credit card at the festival?
Yes, subject to any restrictions that may apply to individual vendors attending the event.
Q: CAN CHILDREN COME?
Children are welcome on the day as the festival is family friendly. Children’s tickets are available at £5.
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a fee paying adult. All entrants must have a valid ticket.
Please note that no children under 14 years will be allowed into the venue without an accompanying adult over 18years. Maximum of 3 children per adult.
You will require proof of ID for children who look over 14 entering with a child ticket. If ID is not produced the decision on whether to charge for an adult ticket will be made by Global Events and this decision will be binding.
Q: Lost Children?
Children who are lost should be taken to the designated child collection point which will be clearly marked. If you find a lost child please inform a steward or member of the Festival staff.
Q: Is there a cloakroom or lockers?
There are no cloakroom or locker facilities. Please only bring along items that you are prepared to carry.
Q: What if I have any questions once I am at the festival?
Please come to the Ticket Office at the entrance to the Festival or ask a member of the Festival staff.

Q: Can I bring a picnic?
You Will NOT be able to take food/drink into the Festival Arena. You will only be able to purchase food and beverages provided by approved vendors in the Festival Arena, This is for health and safety reasons, artists riders and insurance terms/conditions.
There will be a variety of food vendors serving quality food and drinks at reasonable prices. A search policy operates at the Festival and any food and drinks including alcohol will be confiscated.
This policy protects everyone in terms of food hygiene, allergy risks and security, where we have to ensure that no potentially dangerous liquids are brought into the event.
Q: Can I bring my own alcohol?
No. This is strictly forbidden. Alcohol consumption MUST be controlled as a condition of the licence and alcohol abuse can spoil the event for others. The Festival is about good value and we will ensure prices are affordable.
Q: Can I bring picnic chairs or blankets?
Yes into the Main Arena and VIP Area, however it will be at your own risk for loss or damage. Gazebos and pop up tents are not permitted and may be confiscated on safety grounds.
Q: Is there drinking water available?
Yes, we supply drinking water free of charge. Drink water only from sources clearly marked “drinking water”.
Q: Toilets & Baby Changing Facilities?
There will be toilets located in and around the arena with facilities for baby changing. Disabled access facilities will be provided. Please respect the next user and keep toilets clean.
Q: Is the venue accessible?
Apps Court is a green field site which is mainly flat. However, there will be areas that require special care to negotiate, depending upon weather and ground conditions. Apps Court will be holding car boot sales on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays leading up to the Festival, when anyone intending to come to the Festival will be welcome to check if the site is suitable.
